Standard

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!

After watching a video on you tube by Alexis aka Misstrenchcoat(who has amazing planner videos btw) on different ways to personalize your planner, I wanted to put together this post using some of her ideas along with some of mine and share them with all of you! Although when I started making my list we had almost the same ideas! Great planner minds think alike!

The 1st way I like to personalize my planner is by adding a cute pen! I love this purple crystal pen by PenGems! You can check them out here http://www.pengems.com

The 2nd way I like to personalize my planners are with dashboards. A dashboard is a place to hold sticky notes, washi, or just to make your planner pretty! I love this smile dashboard that a friend made for me, but you can find lots of cute ones on etsy by simply doing a search for planner dashboards.

The 6th fun way I like to personalize my planners are by using fun washi tape and stickers! I like to use washi tape to not only decorate my pages, but for blocking off time on my calendar, and also for cancelling or rescheduling things. I also love to use fun, functional stickers to decorate and to mark different things in my planner. For example, different appts, paydays, weather, cleaning chores, and tv shows. You can find alot of super cute washi tape on etsy, ebay, amazon or at your local craft stores. Some walmart and target stores sell washi tape as well. I like to use my foldout workboard for holding sticky notes so that they dont take up space on my calender inserts. Alexis aka Misstrenchcoat has a great tutorial video on how to make a folder!
